Update 1.6 was released for PC on March 19, with console and mobile due to receive the big content addition as soon as possible. As such, Patch 1.6.2 is available for PC Game Pass users, but Xbox Game Pass users will have to wait until Update 1.6 launches for consoles. Patch 1.6.2 includes a number of fixes for visual glitches and translation errors, along with the removal of a rare soft-lock glitch. Fans celebrated Stardew Valley Update 1.6 in a variety of unique ways, and players have praised ConcernedApe for the quick patches to ensure the community can enjoy the new changes to the fullest.
Patch 1.6.2 for Stardew Valley includes changes made in Patch 1.6.1 and a number of new bug fixes. Some of the 1.6.2 updates include sprite changes to avoid graphical glitches, an overhaul of the Portuguese version of the Luau event, adjustments to edibility of ingredients, and the removal of a tool swap movement soft-lock.
