Baldur's Gate 3: Ceremonial Weapon Locations (Stained-Glass Window Puzzle)
Like many of the mysteries of the locations of each of the ceremonial weapons needed for the "" quest may leave players stumped. The game boasts an impressive collection of immersive quests, weapons, and hidden stories that lend to a never-ending feeling of discovery. Within each dungeon-like location, there are many puzzles and hints that players will need to figure out how to get powerful items or progress the story.
The Githyanki Crèche in , located in Act 1, is said to be home to the radiant mace of Lathander. Upon arrival, players hear the whispers of this mystical weapon but are told it is lost. After further exploration of the Crèche and its secrets, players will find that this is not as true as it is believed to be.
You automatically receive the "" quest while exploring the Crèche. In the upper levels, there is a circular room with a shattered, circular stained-glass window split into four sections. Inspecting this stained glass window will yield dialogue naming each of the Dawnmasters and the weapons they carried.
Notice the pedestal to the southeast, Dawnmaster Welkinglory's, already has a Ceremonial Greatsword on it. Leave this for now, as it's actually a hint to the puzzle. To find the Dawnmaster's Crest, you must find the ceremonial weapons of each Dawnmaster, placing them on the corresponding pedestal.
Head southeast from the stained-glass room and jump across the small gap to a doorway with a pile of furniture in it. After breaking the furniture or finding another way inside, defeat the Guardian of Faith, who stands there. Once the fight is won, pick up the Ceremonial Mace from the pile in the center of the room.
Remember that the Guardian of Faith will only do damage to characters within its circle. Hence, any ranged or spell attack will prevent your team from taking unnecessary damage.
