Items in are put into four categories, not including equipment like armor and weapons: Curatives, which provide various functions like restoring health and stamina; Implements, a type of equipment with a specific role; Materials, used in enchantment and upgrading weapons and armor; and Valuables, which are often quest items or have no other purpose aside from being sold. The Golden Trove Beetle is classified as an Implement, capable of permanently improving one of the Arisen's more overlooked stats.
The Golden Trove Beetle is a rare Implement often found on tree trunks. They are scattered around the world of and, when used, willincrease a character's carry weight by 0.15kg. Although inconsequential at first, if enough beetles are collected and then used, this increase in carry weight will become significant. Players of open world RPGs are known for their hoarding, and if a player wants to keep all the booty retrieved on their journey, these beetles will prove useful.
This stat increase is not exclusive to the Arisen. In fact, ifused on a Pawn, it will also benefit from improved carry weight. Followers are often used as glorified pack mules in these large-scale, fantasy adventures and these Pawns can carry more items with deeper pockets. The Golden Trove Beetles weigh 0.05kg and are light enough to be ignored until a player decides to use them for either their Arisen or Pawn. Thanks to requiring activation to take effect, this decision can be delayed to later.
