HoYoverse has opened signups for a PlayStation 5 technical test for its upcoming fantasy ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero.
Taking place in New Eridu, you are a Proxy, and this is the last shelter for civilization after The Hollows, a mysterious event. If the potential entry into a post-apocalyptic bright, fast-paced urban-set ARPG from HoYoverse intrigues you, then if you have a PS5, you may be in luck. Signups are open now and will end on April 17th at 12am PT. If you already pre-registered to declare your interest in the game, you'll still need to fill out a separate survey for playtesters.
This test will take place separatelyfrom other tests, including the Amplifying test on PC and mobile. The team is not ready to share when the testing dates will happen yet, but they promise more info will be coming soon. When it does happen, those invited can try out the still in development title. The technical test will be with the beta build and there will be a wipe at the end of the test.
One of the positives is that there will not be an NDA or any rules to prevent sharing details on your experience or even, it seems, visual media. Accordingto the test announcement, “No strict rules will be applied to the test on the sharing, discussion, and distribution of test content”. they do warn that they will take legal action if you do anything improper or engage in piracy or any other things you shouldn't do.
Still, it looks like people who get in might be sharing some impressions and how things are on console, with the notion that everything could potentially change between now and its eventual launch sometime later this year.
