As we head deeper into 2024, the traditional “E3” season (of course, E3 is dead now, but you catch my drift) for gaming announcements and showcases is coming up fast. In recent days we’ve begun to hear some murmurings about Microsoft’s big 2024 showcase, with Gears 6 reportedly being there, and now a few more potential details may have filtered out.
According to The Verge’s Tom Warren, a longtime Microsoft insider, the 2024 Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 9. As a reminder, last year the Xbox show provided a look at Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, Avowed, and Fable, and South of Midnight, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and Clockwork Revolution were announced. Microsoft typically likes to swing for the fences with these E3-season shows – more than their competitors. That said, they may have some big competition this year, with both Sony and Nintendo
