We hope your calendars are clear over the next few months, because the games industry is pretending E3 is still alive with numerous showcase events this summer. The latest publisher hopping on the bandwagon is THQ Nordic, as it's bringing back the THQ Nordic Showcase this August.
The company made the announcement recently on its socials:
It name-drops a couple of games that'll be included, like the Gothic remake and Titan Quest II. However, it's also teasing some new announcements as well as updates on known titles, so it'll hopefully be worth tuning in.
THQ Nordic's event is broadcast on 2nd August 2024 at 12pm PDT/3pm EDT/8pm BST/9pm CEST/10pm EEST. Will you be watching? Which games are you hoping to see during the presentation? Discuss in the comments section below.

It's getting kinda busy. If only there was a long weekend at some point in the calendar, probably best to have it in the summer months when releases tend to be a bit quieter, where all the big publishers and platforms could get together and go through their announcements sequentially. Heck, they could invite media to try games and do previews, and the event could be great for teams to network with one another and speak to publishers. They could call it the Expo of Electronic Entertainment, or 3E for short, or something like that. I bet the consumers
