A new World of Warcraft weapon was datamined from the latest build on the public test realm, and its appearance could carry some significant implications for the future of the Dragonflight expansion. The news of the weapon arrived as Blizzard shifts its focus to what is coming soon to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight in the coming days and weeks.

Next Tuesday, March 21, World of Warcraft Patch 10.0.7 will go live, which will take players back to The Forbidden Reach as they uncover what lies ahead in the wake of Raszageth's demise. With the death of the Storm-Eater in the Vault of the Incarnates raid, her fellow Primal Incarnates, Iridikron, Fyrakk, and Vyranoth were set free and retreated underground to plan their next moves. While the Nozdormu-inspired staff is not tied to any known source or boss on the PTR at this time, Patch 10.1 has a wealth of content that remains focused on the secrets that Neltharion, also known as Deathwing, left behind.
