Though World of Warcraft will launch Patch 10.0.7 tomorrow, another limited-time event will soon arrive that fans of the Timewalking feature may enjoy. The news came amid a busy news cycle for World of Warcraft, with Blizzard ramping up new and different forms of content for players to take part in at their leisure.
At the time of writing, Patch 10.0.7 will go live tomorrow, March 21, barring any last-minute delays. This new World of Warcraft content update will feature class balance updates, including the Retribution Paladin rework, the return to The Forbidden Reach, new Heritage armor quests for human and orc players, and a new quest series focusing on the Tauren chieftain Baine Bloodhoof. But, just a short time after the launch of Patch 10.0.7, World of Warcraft players that yearn for the experiences of expansions past will soon have a chance to relive several of them throughout a limited-time event.
World of Warcraft Achievement Takes 9 Years for Player to Unlock
Starting March 28, the Turbulent Timeways event will give World of Warcraft players six consecutive weeks of Timewalking, with each week focusing on one expansion before shifting to another. The weekly expansion order for the Turbulent Timeways event will start with Cataclysm, then go to Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, The Burning Crusade, and finally end with Wrath of the Lich King. During the event, players will be able to use the Dungeon Finder to experience dungeons and boss encounters from years past, such as Temple of the Jade Serpent and Utgarde Keep, while the respective expansion window is active.
