Among Us, the popular online multiplayer game, has announced its latest update, which has now gone live on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. The update includes a host of new features and improvements, including a new Horse Mode in celebration of April Fools' Day, new cosmetics, and bug fixes.
Among Us is an online multiplayer social deduction game that was developed and published in 2018 by the American game studio Innersloth. The game is set in space-themed surroundings, where players control colorful, armless cartoon astronauts. Players are divided into two roles, with most being Crewmates and a small number playing Impostors. Crewmates work together to complete assigned tasks, while also using social deduction to identify and vote out suspected Impostors, who appear identical to Crewmates. Impostors, on the other hand, try to secretly kill the Crewmates.

In an update on the Innersloth official website, the game's developers of Among Us announced that, in honor of April Fool's Day, they are bringing back the popular Horse Mode between March 31 and April 2. In this mode, all Crewmates are transformed into horse-shaped characters appropriately referred to as “Horsemates." The developers have also added a new Horse Wrangling mode to the game, which is essentially a Hide n' Seek mode with a horse-y surprise. Players are encouraged to check back around April Fools to see what other surprises the developers have in store.
