The Spring Festival is Back in The Lord of the Rings Online With Several New Items
The Spring Festival opens today in The Lord of the Rings Online. In addition to the returning spring event, Update 34.3 is here, with some adjustments and fixes.
In this week’s patch, the Featured Instance rotation gets a refresh, several localization fixes have been added, and several items now work as expected.
As most in the Northern Hemisphere know, the grasp of winter is soon to be over for us, and the return of spring events in our favorite games is one more way to welcome the seasonal change. The Spring Festival in The Lord of the Rings Online is back with activities over in the Bree-land Festival Grounds, Thorin’s Hall, the Shire location of Brockenborings, and Duillond in Ered Luin.
If you need some refreshment on what to do during this event, the event quests you can pick up across the festival locations will have you helping others with their tasks and sometimes, their deepest hopes. In Bree, you can help get people their drinks, or help Avery Crabapple to gather enough flowers to help him to court his love. Help others in Brockenborings to make drinks,and take the dare to drink the clover brew and walk around. Other quests will also have you pick some flowers to help others, giving them a little taste of spring.
Horse racing is back, if that's more your speed, and so are activities like Shrew Stomping, and dancing. There’s much to enjoy during the seasonal festival, which has some new items to collect this year. Some of the new items include a cosmetic pet puppy, new housing decorations, a new cosmetic shield, Sickle-fly cosmetic pet, and new cosmetic cloaks.
