The GBA was one of the best possible platforms for RPGs in its time, with a massive, bright color palette to work with and a slew of new games and sometimes, whole franchises. Titles like Sigma Star Saga melded RPGs and shooters, while games like Golden Sun brought turn-based RPGs back into vogue. Christophe Galati is best-known for creation Save Me Mr. Tako, a super-fun platformer and now he’s coming back with an upcoming RPG.
He’ll be taking to Kickstarter soon to fund this project and the first trailer shows a lot of promise. The colors are bold, the art fits in nicely with what the GBA itself could do, and the action RPG gameplay looks fluid. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the Kickstarter and hopefully, the game’s eventual full release on Steam.
