This year will be the first where Qualcomm unveils its first 3nm chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but it is not the only vendor out there with a silicon that is mass produced on TSMC’s cutting-edge architecture, which raises the competition bar. Going into 2025, the San Diego firm will face some challenges along the way, but it is still expected to generate a hefty sum from Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 sales alone.
