Andor Season 2 Release Date Set for Disney+ Star Wars Show
The Andor Season 2 release date was revealed during D23 Brazil for the beloved Star Wars Disney+ series.
Disney revealed that the Andor Season 2 release date is set for April 22, 2025. Following the show’s first episode debuting on DIsney+, it will release weekly episodes on the streaming service. The second season will cover four years, with segments from each year taking place across three episodes of the series.

Andor Season 1 premiered towards the end of 2022. The series stars Diego Luna reprising his role as Cassian Andor and features franchise alums Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma. Additional cast also includes Star Wars newcomers Denise Gough, Stellan Skarsgård, Kyle Soller, and Adria Arjona.
Set five years before the events of Rogue One, the series follows the adventures of the titular hero rebel spy during the formative years of the Rebellion. It explores tales of espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.
Andor is executive produced by showrunner Tony Gilroy, who previously directed the reshoots for Rogue One. Gilroy was originally expected to direct three episodes but was forced to give up the position toBlack Mirror‘s Toby Haynes due to pandemic-related travel issues.
