Revenge of the Savage Planet, sequel to the cult favourite Journey to the Savage Planet, has pencilled in a release window on PS5 and PS4. The silly sci-fi action title is preparing for launch in May 2025.
Much like its predecessor, the sequel places players on a vivid, uncharted alien world, and it's down to you to explore it and survive its dangers while you work out a way home.
Playable solo or with a friend in co-op, Revenge of the Savage Planet looks very stylised in this new gameplay trailer. Various weapons and tools are also highlighted, as well as the alien beasts you'll need to deal with as you explore the planet.
It looks as though it's building on what was already there in the first game, so we're hopeful this will be a good time when it arrives in May.
