Sony has revealed January’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, which include one of last year’s most high-profile releases.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe will be available from January 7 for PlayStation Plus members.
Developed by Rocksteady and published by Warner Bros Interactive, Suicide Squad was at one point one of the most highly anticipated games, but a protracted development cycle and a backlash to its live service elements contributed to the game struggling critically and commercially.
The game was released last February to a mixed critical reception and proved to be a commercial failure, with publisher Warner taking a $200 million loss on the game. Last month, Rocksteady confirmed it would be ending support for the title.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered was released in 2020, and is an updated version of the popular 2010 racing game by EA’s Criterion studio.
Finally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is an expanded version of the critically acclaimed indie game first released in 2013.
December’s PlayStation Plus monthly games, which are available until January 6, include It Takes Two (PS4, PS5), Aliens: Dark Descent (PS4, PS5) and Temtem (PS5).
