Moana 2 Digital, 4K, & Blu-ray Release Dates Set for Disney Sequel
Disney has officially set the, while also revealing that the film is now available on digital.
Moana 2 will arrive on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 18, 2025, when the film arrives for home audiences. The movie will be sold as a combo pack, and the 4K UHD will be available in a limited edition SteelBook with custom artwork and packaging, which you can see below.

The voice cast for Moana 2 includes Auli’i Cravalho as Moana, Dwayne Johnson as Maui, Temuera Morrison as Tui, Nicole Scherzinger as Sina, Rose Matafeo as Loto, David Fane as Kele, Rachel House as Tala, Alan Tudyk as Heihei, Awhimai Fraser as Matangi, and more.
“The film reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”
Moana 2 is directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller from a screenplay co-written by Miller and Jared Bush. It was executive produced by Bush, Johnson, and Jennifer Lee. The original was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. It was not only a commercial success with a gross of over $600 million, but it also earned positive reviews from critics and earned two Oscar nominations, including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.
