Terrifier 4 Teased by Damien Leone as ‘Most Satisfying Conclusion’ in Horror Franchise
The first Terrifier movie was released in 2016, followed by 2022’s Terrifier 2 and 2024’s Terrifier 3. Now, Damien Leone is preparing the script for Terrifier 4, and promises a crazy conclusion.
In a recent post on Instagram, the director of the Terrifier franchise shared the cover page for the script of Terrifier 4, complete with splatters of blood.
In an accompanying post, Leone thanked fans for their continued support of the franchise, and also promised an incredible conclusion to the franchise, including promising he will “finally” show Art the Clown’s origin story.

“Thank you all so much for the amazing birthday wishes,” said Leone to start the caption. “I’m truly blessed to know so many wonderful human beings. I might as well take advantage of this day and give all of the Terrifier fans a little present in return – The script for Terrifier 4 is under way and it is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga. I’ve personally never been so excited to see one of my own scripts translate to the screen like this one. P.S. I will finally reveal Art’s origin in this entry. Thank you all again.”
Currently, not a whole lot is known about the upcoming fourth entry in the film, other than the fact that it will close out the franchise.
The third entry in the series, Terrifier 3, was released in 2024, and was the biggest hit in the franchise to date. The film grossed $89 million at the box office, and became the highest-grossing unrated film ever, as well as production studio Cineverse’s highest-grossing film ever.
