If you've been on the fence about buying Black Ops 6, you may be interested in knowing that the game's going free to play all next week.
The popular shooter launched for PS5 and PS4 back in October, and was met with very positive reviews from critics. The fan reception has been a bit up and down since then — as it always is when it comes to Call of Duty — but Activision went on record saying that it's the "biggest Call of Duty ever".
That's in terms of «engagement», of course — which is always a deliberately murky metric.
Anyway! If you're interested in this free trial, it sounds rather robust (which means the download size is probably gigantic). But to be clear, the game's single-player campaign is not included — it's just the multiplayer side of things.
«From December 13 to 20, get one week of free access to Multiplayer and Zombies including new maps like Hideout and Hacienda, and modes including Prop Hunt introduced in Season 01!», reads the official announcement.
Will you be trying Black Ops 6 next week? Just remember that swapping weapons is faster than reloading in the comments section below.
Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) is an assistant editor of Push Square, and has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he's played 'em all. A little too much, some might say.
