Moon Studios releases its biggest update for Early Access title No Rest for the Wicked with Hotfix 3 addressing a large number of community-driven issues including performance, game balance, and much more. Moon Studios' latest title has finally arrived, though as an Early Access title on Steam, where the developer can collect feedback and continue to improve the game before it launches in full. No Rest for the Wicked attempts to innovate the Action RPG genre, mixing elements of franchises like Diablo and adding some unique mechanics of its own.
While Moon Studios has seen plenty of buzz surrounding No Rest for the Wicked, the Early Access launch hasn't always been a smooth one. The community has highlighted a number of issues with the game, though the developer has been very quick to issue new updates for No Rest for the Wicked to add quality of life improvements, fix bugs, as well as tweak the gameplay experience for elements and mechanics that may not be functioning as well as expected. With that said, Moon Studios has released the third update, bringing some of the biggest changes to the game yet.
Early Access Hotfix 3 addresses a large number of issues plaguing No Rest for the Wicked, including a huge list of bug fixes as well. Moon Studios continues to quickly respond to player feedback during the Early Access period, and tweaking various gameplay elements like adjusting Dig Spot rates for improved Clay drops while also reducing the number of hits needed to mine or dig, improving the behavior of certain enemies including the Nith Screamer and Shackled Brute. Parrying in No Rest for the Wicked has also been updated so that it now consumes stamina. Moon Studios has also added numerous gameplay settings while also fixing issues related to HDR rendering.
