Optional Bronze Farms in Remix: Mists of Pandaria - Goats, Dalaran Sewers
With Blizzard killing Frogs in Remix this weekend, many players have been looking for the next farm to do. Let's take a look at some of the more popular alternatives.
Goats
The most popular alternative seen everywhere right now is goats. Goats is the name used for farming Stout Shaghorn in the north section of Valley of the Four Winds.
The farm consists of murdering the goats repetitively. The Goats hyper-spawn if you have players killing them in all the different separate areas, so this farm is only viable with multiple groups in the area or a raid group covering every spot. You can see all the spawn locations below:
It is a good farm for players looking for raw Bronze, providing about half to three-quarters of the raw Bronze given by Frogs, but it lacks the same power gains Frogs gave, which was given by turning in Lesser Charm of Good Fortune into Aid Quests which rewarded Cache of Infinite Treasure. This lack of a good source of Threads and extra Bronze really hinders this method leaving its final overall Bronze, after turning in all Lesser Charms, to be about a quarter of what was possible with Frogs.
Dalaran Sewers
Another popular farm right now is the Dalaran Sewers. This one is restricted to Horde Players only as it takes place in the Purge of Dalaran questline. During the It Starts in the Sewers step, players can kill many Alliance guards placed in the middle of the Dalaran sewers which hyper-spawn and reward Bronze and Threads.
This method yields slightly more Bronze than Goats based on testing, but it is more restricted, requiring the player to be Horde, to reach Revered with Dominance Offensive, and to be in a specific step of their questline. If you have completed this quest already with a given character, you cannot go back to the scenario and thus can't do this farm anymore with that character.
