Pre-orders for the upcoming and eagerly-anticipated RPG Black Myth: Wukong were the biggest seller on Steam last week.
This is the first time that pre-purchasing for the Chinese-themed title from developer Game Science has been an option on Steam, making it all the more impressive that the release is at the head of the Top Ten now. Black Myth: Wukong is set to launch on August 20th.
Destiny 2 holds onto second place off the back of the newly-released expansion, The Final Shape, rolling out. That content launched on June 4th and was the sixth biggest seller of the week.
Valve's blockbuster shooter, Counter-Strike 2, is taking a break from being No.1 on Steam, coming in at third place this week, while Elden Ring rose up two places to fourth. That is on the back of the new Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which is set to launch on June 20th and was the eight biggest seller of the week, up from No.18.
The Steam Deck hardware dropped from third to fifth week-on-week, while the visually impressive Unreal Engine 5 shooter Bodycam made its debut in seventh following its June 7th release.
Dota 2 is down in ninth place from last week's No.4, while Street Fighter 6 returns to the Top Ten in the wake of Capcom sharing details of the fighting game's second year of content.
