Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows recently saw a fresh round of previews, highlighting stealth, combat, exploration and base-building. For those concerned about another potential delay, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson cited sources that said the publisher and development team are “confident” it will meet the March 20th launch date.
A source even told Henderson that the title is “pretty much done.” Reviews will allegedly go live on March 18th, with marketing to seemingly ramp up in the coming weeks. It wouldn’t be surprising if Ubisoft Quebec announced the title has gone gold, though a day-one patch is pretty much a given.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is releasing on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Initially planned to have a Season Pass and advanced access, these were cancelled following the first delay. The first expansion, Claws of Awaji, will be free for all who pre-order, and the open-world action RPG is even launching on day one for Steam. Check out our feature for the latest details.
