Ubisoft has confirmed it will be introducing a new paid subscription service for its popular tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege. Very similar to the Fortnite Crew membership offered by Epic Games, signing up grants you access to exclusive bonus items on a monthly basis as well as the seasonal Battle Passes and some premium currency.
The R6 Membership — as it's officially called — in no way affects the regular play of Rainbow Six: Siege. It's a completely optional subscription designed to offer extra content for those who want it. In addition, the title's standard price on PS5, PS4 is £24.99 / $39.99 and is currently available on PS Plus Extra.
If you sign up for the service between 11th and 18th June 2024, you'll be rewarded as an early adopter with the Ash epic bundle and 600 extra credits to spend. Ubisoft says you can sign up in 12-month chunks or at a «nominal monthly cost», but hasn't revealed the exact pricing yet.
As soon as you sign up, you get access to the current Battle Pass along with 10 Battle Pass tier skips and a Bravo pack. Then, on the 28th of every month you're subscribed, you'll be given a legendary item and an epic bundle of cosmetics. Every time you renew on a monthly basis, you'll be handed another 10 Battle Pass tier skips and a Bravo pack.

Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
Just what everyone was waiting for. More subscriptions in their lives lol.
This industry sickens me
How many combinations of dudes in balaclavas and goggles can there possibly be?
Cosmetics for first person shooters seems so pointless. you cant even see what your character is wearing. whats the point XD
This is what AAAA gaming gets you, folks.
