Pocketpair has deployed Palworld Update v0.1.5.0 through Steam with the Xbox patch being rolled out soon as well.
This brand-new patch allows players to fully customize their keyboard keys. It also resolves an annoying issue that caused the accumulation of unnecessary data in save files. Another welcome change is the implementation of a save data backup on the game's world selection screen. In addition to these changes, this new update also contains various fixes for player issues as well as base issues alongside tweaks to Pals. For instance, the patch addresses a bug where if a large amount of experience points were gained and the level increased to 50 at once, Pals would not learn any active skills. Also, the update adds measures to prevent the issue where base Pals would wander around and get stuck at the border of the base area. We suggest reading the full patch notes.
As mentioned by developer Pocketpair, the Xbox patch will be released as soon as it's ready. Unfortunately, it's not entirely sure if this patch will also address the apparent auto-save issues on Xbox. Luckily, the dev team has acknowledged this issue and is currently looking for a fix. "We are currently working on an issue where auto-save fails on the Xbox and Xbox Game Pass versions", Pocketpair writes. "We expect that this will be resolved in an upcoming update."
