Blizzard revealed nearly all the Hero Talent Trees with the launch of the War Within Alpha and subsequent builds.
Our Havoc Demon Hunter guide writer, Shadarek, offers an early review of the Fel-Scarred Hero Talents that seamlessly integrates into the base rotation while offering additional AoE highlighting the power of Metamorphosis.
Fel-Scarred Demon Hunter is the second and final tree revealed of the two that Havoc and Vengeance will share access to. Fel-Scarred is built mostly around Metamorphosis buffing it via Demonsurge, utilizing it as a larger cooldown and buffing more abilities through Demonic Intensity while also causing them to deal AoE damage on cast as empowered abilities. Of the two trees, this one is my personal favorite and seems to fit much more seamlessly into the Havoc Demon Hunter kit. In addition to having access to Annihilation and Death Sweep while in Metamorphosis, you will gain access to Abyssal Gaze, Sigil of Doom, and Consuming Fire which all deal 30% increased damage of their baseline counterparts.
We will take a look at all of the talents in the Hero Tree, starting with those dealing damage and impacting how Havoc Demon Hunter will play, before moving to the minimal defensive and utility talents that are available.
