Over at the PNY Booth, we spotted the greenest GPU on the entire Computex show floor, signed by NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, himself.
PNY hasn't necessarily announced any blower-variant yet but given the rising demand for such designs from the AI segment, the company is looking to incorporate dual-slot blowers on its GeForce RTX 40 "SUPER" portfolio. One such design that was displayed during Computex 2024 was the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER "Blower Edition".
This graphics card sticks with the reference specifications of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU which includes 7168 CUDA cores on the AD104 die, a clock speed of up to 2475 MHz, and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory, offering a total bandwidth of up to 504.2 GB/s. The GPU will also stick with the reference pricing of $599 US which makes it a very nice high-end option given its increased value versus the original 4070 model and also the fact that this card has a very power-efficient design with a 220W TGP that never exceeds 200W in actual gaming workloads.
For its blower edition model, PNY has gone with a reflective green color coating on the front shroud which looks great. The graphics card also comes with a brushed-metal backplate and a custom PCB design which features a single 12V-2x6 connector on the back for easy cable management. The card that was shown at the booth was using a dummy PCB with no actual components but this will be a production model that is meant for retail launch.
Being the spotlight of PNY's booth, NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, himself had to come over to sign off this graphics card. The model not only received Jensen's autograph but also a note saying that "Jensen was here!". At Computex 2024, we saw several other fans who took their graphics cards to
