This talent tree feels quite a lot cooler than Farseer did, despite most of the tree still not being testable just yet. This is probably the best first-look at a Hero Talent Tree that was named «Totemic» as they could have possibly achieved. It does raise a few concerns (which I'll dig into) but this tree is fun to play, it has some popular old set bonuses in it with Lively Totems and the water-mote of Whirling Elements, and it isn't overly complex.
Instead of trying to cast Healing Rain every 10 seconds and repeatedly watching your tank pull mobs out of it, Surging Totem now effectively makes Healing Rain instant-cast and will get recast by the totem every 5 seconds. So even if your tank is on the move, you should find that it should slowly follow the pack! This will probably be most noticeable in a Mythic+ setting, but will help on fights in a Raid setting where it doesn't feel like players are staying in one location for very long.
