Exclusive Step Back, Doors Closing Teaser Trailer Previews DC Rom-Com
ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive for the upcoming romantic comedy film set in Washington, D.C.
Step Back, Doors Closing is directed, written, and produced by Carter Ward. The film stars Carmen Berkeley and Reilly Walters, and follows the story of a man and woman who meet one night on the D.C. metro, and and the subsequent four hours they spend bonding together while exploring their hopes, dreams, and plans for the future.
For those in the area, Step Back, Doors Closing will have its world premiere on June 27, 2024, at the Dances With Film festival in Los Angeles, California. Tickets for the showing are available now.

“Step Back, Doors Closing is a charming love story between two young adults who long for authentic and emotionally intelligent relationships while navigating the impending realities of full-fledged adulthood. Ryan (Reilly Walters) is witty, down-to-earth, and newly single for the first time in four years. He’s excited for a night on the town, but when his old friend bails on him at the last minute, he gets on the DC metro with the intention of going home.
