Next month, Final Fantasy fans attending PAX East will have a chance to hear some questions answered by Naoki «Yoshi-P» Yoshida, as he will be in Boston for the event. In his capacity as producer of both Final Fantasy 14 and Final Fantasy 16, Yoshi-P will respond to questions sent to him by Final Fantasy players during two panels at the annual show.
Though Final Fantasy 14 will not be releasing its next expansion in 2023, Square Enix's critically-acclaimed MMORPG will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of A Realm Reborn throughout the year. The occasion marks a decade since the game was relaunched following the disastrous 1.0 release that nearly brought Square Enix and the Final Fantasy brand to its knees. With Yoshi-P brought on as producer and director forFinal Fantasy 14 to salvage the project, he and Creative Business Unit 3 developed a reputation for being as transparent and forward as possible with the state of the game. This led to his position as the producer of the upcoming Final Fantasy 16.
Final Fantasy 14 Players Holding In-Game Concert Fundraisers for Turkey and Syria
At PAX East, Yoshi-P will host a Final Fantasy 14 panel on Friday, March 24, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern at the Albatross Theater. Players can use a designated thread on the Final Fantasy 14 official forums until March 6 to send questions to Yoshi-P, though Square Enix will only take one question per player. The panel will focus on the 10th anniversary of the game and offer a look back at how far it has come since then. The anniversary will continue well into the year, including at the Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival in Las Vegas.
While he likely will not be able to give any information on a Final Fantasy 16 PC port, Yoshi-P will be joined by localization
