Mundfish’s open world first person shooter Atomic Heart was in the works for quite a while, but after a tumultuous development cycle marked by delays and behind-the-scenes issues, the game finally launched for PC and consoles last month. And though it was met with mixed reception from critics and audiences alike, it seems it’s still doing quite well for itself.
Taking recently to Twitter, Mundfish’s CEO and founder Robert Bagratuni revealed that Atomic Heart has been played by over 5 million players within just three weeks of its launch. That number isn’t indicative of its sales, especially considering the fact that the game is also available via Game Pass, but it’s an impressive milestone for the shooter nonetheless.
Mundfish has also been releasing post-launch patches for the game to iron out its technical issues and add requested features, with more fixes also currently in the works.
Atomic Heart is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
We are grateful to all our players around the world! https://t.co/KEarQA7O4W
