A Modern Warfare 2 free multiplayer week starts on Wednesday
Activision has announced plans to run a week-long Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 free multiplayer trial.
Starting on April 19 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 5pm GMT and running for seven days, the trial will offer access to a limited selection of the game’s multiplayer content.
It will feature content introduced last week with Season 3, including the new core map Pelayo’s Lighthouse, which is set on a small, craggy island during an evening storm, and Gunfight mode.

Activision launched Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 on April 12.
Resurgence, a streamlined spin-off of the regular battle royale with respawns enabled, made its debut on the Al Mazrah map in the form of Massive Resurgence, which is a much larger version of the mode supporting up to 150 players.
But shortly before publishing this article, Infinity Ward said it had disabled Massive Resurgence while it investigates an issue that was causing the gas circle to not align with the positioning of the gas itself. Resurgence Trios and Quads have been added in its place.
