The next free Epic Games Store titles have been revealed.
Ironic outer space survival adventure game Breathedge, and poker simulation Poker Club, will be free to download from Epic’s PC marketplace from April 27 until May 4.
Breathedge see players “take on the role of a simple guy called the Man who is just carrying his grandpa’s ashes to a galactic funeral and suddenly finds himself in the middle of a universal conspiracy”.
According to its Epic Games Store listing, Poker Club lets players “live the life of a poker pro in a global Poker Tour, then join a Club and make a name for yourself in 200-player online tournaments.”
Breathedge and Poker Club will replace narrative adventure Beyond Blue and puzzle platformer Never Alone, which are now free to claim until April 27.
The Epic Games Store gave away 99 free titles last year (up from 89 in 2021). These games had a combined worth of $2,240 and users claimed over 700 million free titles (down from 765 million in 2021), according to Epic.
The company recently suggested players should expect to see further high-profile Epic Games Store exclusives announced in the future.
Epic Games announced on Wednesday that it is to acquire Brazil-based Horizon Chase and Wonderbox studio Aquiris for an undisclosed sum.
The Aquiris team will be the foundation of the company’s first Latin America studio, Epic Games Brasil, which will work on the Fortnite series.
