Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded has been revealed

Activision has detailed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded.

Launching on May 10, Season 3’s mid-season update will introduce a new multiplayer map, Raid Episode 03, a fresh DMZ experience, two full-auto sidearms and Warzone 2.0 Ranked Play, among other features.

Alboran Hatchery is a medium-sized 6v6 multiplayer map set on a remote, windswept facility beneath wind farm turbines.

Raid Episode 03 follows Price, Farah and Alex as they navigate old train tunnels and electrically charged waters in a Soviet base in pursuit of Hadir and a missing warhead.

New multiplayer modes include Giant Infection, which will be playable on larger Battle Maps, and 3v3 Faceoff, which lets players use their own loadouts and play modes like Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed on Gunfight maps.

Warzone 2 is introducing preset Perk Packages in Supply Boxes and at Buy Stations. “These offer vital passive benefits for Warzone Operators who have not yet called in their Loadout Drop,” Activision said.

Also new are the Deployable Buy Station and Gulag Entry Kit, with the latter giving players a second chance at fighting their way back into games after being killed.

DMZ players will get the chance to earn valuable rewards by locating one of multiple entrances to a new subterranean facility called the Koschei Complex.

Warzone Ranked Play will also launch in beta, featuring competitive settings, a progressive ranking system and seasonal rewards.

Season 3 Reloaded will add two new fully automatic handguns (FTAC Siege and GS Magna) as secondary weapons, plus the lethal Throwing Star.

And basketball star Kevin Durant will join the game as an official Operator, available in a special, limited-time store bundle.
