Human Heritage Armor Questline in Patch 10.0.7 (Spoilers)
The Human heritage armor questline is now available on live servers in Patch 10.0.7, so we've played through to find out what happens and earn the Lionguard Ensemble!
Warning: Major Questline Story Spoilers within! An Urgent MatterThe quest begins with An Urgent Matter, in which players are directed to meet Master Mathias Shaw outside the Ramparts behind Stormwind Keep. It seems the Defias Brotherhood are back and up to no good, having stolen a powerful historical artifact! Out of his depth, Shaw is calling in a specialist, and requests we meet him in Goldshire.
Master Mathias Shaw: This was a very bold move by the Defias Brotherhoood, especially since they have been relatively quiet since the last attack of the Legion. Master Mathias Shaw: The artifact they stole… I shudder to think what they intend with it. We must move quickly, !Upon arrival, we're surprised to learn that Shaw's specialist is none other than Vanessa VanCleef, and the item stolen was the Drakefire Amulet, an item which Classic players may remember well! Although most players already know Vanessa survived her fateful battle in the Deadmines during the Cataclysm, going on to become a Rogue order hall champion in Legion, that story isn't known to the general public. The Defias went relatively quite in the wake of her apparent death, though some banditry still remains, which she claims to try to reign in — her fight is to support the downtrodden people that Stormwind left behind.
