Team Reptile has been working on a spiritual successor to the Jet Set Radio games for years – and today, we finally got a confirmed release date on Switch and PC. The Switch version will be the only console version for a bit, but PC users can also enjoy the experience. We haven’t seen much gameplay released until now and what’s here looks quite promising.

Skating and rail-grinding are here and have a very modern-day Jet Set Radio Future vibe along with rival gangs going after you like Jet Grind Radio. There is a greatest sense of teamwork here with everyone being together though and there are even walking sections to help a bit with world-building and maybe area exploration. That’s something JSRF dabbled in a little bit, but didn’t do much with. We’ll see how great it is when it comes out August 18.
