The original Mr. Gimmick was the stuff of legend in the 8-bit era, as a platformer with tight control and a physics system in place. It was unlike anything else on the market even during a platformer rich time. Now, Sunsoft is set to bring it back in July for consoles and PC.

Gimmick! Special Edition will bring both a digital and later a physical version to the market. Modernization will be implemented for speedrunning alongside a collectible-centric mode for completionists. Those craving a bigger challenge will enjoy Serious mode. For the first time, PlayStation and PC owners will be able to enjoy the game as well as Switch owners.
