Blue Protocol held its final network test at the end of last month, letting participants play through the first chapter, event raids, and an arena mode. In a new breakdown of that beta, developer Bandai Namco has clarified there won't be another.
The news came via Blue Protocol's 6.3 Communication Deep Dive, where it dove into the most popular classes, tweaks that will be made based on data gathered and player feedback, as well as what the future holds for the game ahead of launch. Toward the end of the notes, it revealed, "The team mentioned that there won't be another network test!"

With no future betas planned, perhaps we're closer to a release date - that's what fans hope, at any rate. Currently, Blue Protocol is slated to launch in the second half of 2023, and no specific date has been given, so we'll have to wait and see.
One of the more notable changes being made to Blue Protocol amidst the latest network test is the removal of its level cap, as it was deemed "frustrating to accumulate Player Levelling EXP without ranking up your adventure rank first". Originally, you couldn't progress unless you tackled early content, so Bandai Namco hopes that this change "[enables] players to level up more quickly".
Drop rates will also be increased, as the network test revealed that "parties weren't formed as often in social situations". However, Bandai still stresses that "partying is intended to be the preferred way to gather your materials". Drop rates in hard dungeons have also been boosted.
