Don't buy the coveted $80 Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition from scalpers online, developer Larian has told fans — there's plenty of stock to go around.
Scalpers are currently selling confirmed preorders of the Deluxe Edition for hundreds of dollars on auction sites such as eBay.
“Just for your information, the Deluxe Edition is not a limited edition and stock is holding steady, with more waves being prepared within the first quarter of 2024 shipping window, so if you see them online being resold based on confirmed preorders at higher prices, skip it,” Michael Douse, Larien's director of publishing, said on X/Twitter. “There won’t be stock scarcity.”
He added: “We confirmed a minimum order but we already blitzed past that in the first day, and the first quarter shipping date allows us to simply increase wave sizes without jeapordizing the shipping date so we [don’t] expect any issues within that four-month buffer window. Weirdly organise, considering it’s us.”

While the Deluxe Edition of Baldur's Gate 3 is available to preorder, the coveted Baldur's Gate 3's Collector's Edition is sold out, and it's currently up on eBay with a huge markup. Some listings are selling it for thousands of dollars.
Baldur's Gate 3's long-awaited physical edition is set for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X in the first quarter of 2024. The Deluxe Edition is playable-on-disc, although it'll take a few discs to support such a chonky game. The PS5 version comes on two discs,
