The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is all the rage these days and for all the right reasons. Its predecessor ended up being one of the best CPUs in the market and boasted significant improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. So, it would be safe to hope for even better performance with the upcoming chipset, and based on the information we have just received, it seems like Qualcomm will be adding some decent upgrades to the latest chipset.
Based on the information from renowned tipster Ice Universe, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is going to offer a 1+5+2 configuration, which is different from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2's 1+2+2+3 configuration. This could mean that the new chipset could offer more performance cores and, on top of that, higher frequency. Sadly, we don't know what the frequency is of the CPUs, and we don't know the exact CPU cores in the chipset either.

The source also claims that the Adreno 750 GPU will have "greatly improved" performance, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will also offer a 10MB L3 cache instead of the 8MB L3 cache found on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Last but not least, it is also added that the new generation of the chipset will maintain the overall energy efficiency of the previous generation and will be an excellent SoC.
We do know that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be coming out later this year. As a matter of fact, OnePlus has already started testing a device based on this chipset, and we do know that the Galaxy S24 Ultra could feature this chipset in all regions,
