On May 30th, Tree of Savior Global launches under Papaya Play.
This new version of the game, aimed at the global audience, has some changes from the original, which came out in 2016 after being announced back in 2011. The game was developed by IMC games, and the team included some of the creators of Ragnarok Online.
Like that game, Tree of Savior takes inspiration from various aspects of culture and mythology, this time from Lithuania, making it unique on the market. Art style is done in a hand-drawn style that is meant to make you think about fairy tales and fantasy adventures. There are 60 different classes you can progress through, eventually allowing deeper levels of customization and opportunities to create effective builds.
The team is highlighting the deep customization, the open world, features like villages and dungeons to discover, hidden locations, and the episodes and quests that are ready to go with the global launch.
For this relaunch, some boosts and equipment that made things unbalanced have been removed. Exchange, there is a new system that grants everybody access to certain boosts for the first three months of their play time in order to enhance their character progression. Since this is accessible to everyone from the start, this should hopefully provide a more balanced experience.
With the relaunch, papaya play is looking to incorporate community feedback given through the official Discord in order to continue to improve the experience.
