One of the greatest attractions, nay, greatest achievements of the internet is the ease with which one can access high quality pornography of any persuasion at the click of a button.
But despite the fact this seemingly impressive and important human goal has already been achieved, hordes of fap-happy game geeks have taken the art-form one step further in the form of AI-based video tech that actually allows the user, with just a few clicks (and a few hours of automated AI training cycles) to graft the face of a celebrity or, in this case, a video game character onto those of any of your favourite porn stars in pretty much any clip that you could procure from your undoubtedly impressive library of fornication favourites.
This wasn’t the intended use of this technology of course (just as Viagra was originally meant to treat high blood pressure) but it would be remiss to think that testosterone fulled boys with hefty computing power at their fingertips would miss such an awesome opportunity to mix their fantasies with reality. If you can call porn ‘reality’ that is.
Being a scientist, I have diligently researched several hundred hours of this material on your behalf (we work hard at PC Zone) and, despite having a sore arm, I can conclude that for the most part these facial grafts are pretty clever but ultimately pretty crappy. It’s not like you can lose yourself in the moment as the technology on display is glaringly obvious – still it’s a glimpse of potential yet to come I guess.
