For many fans, Elden Ring has already cinched the Game of the Year award (at The Game Awards and other places), but many think it may have one huge competitor: God of War Ragnarok. This highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive recently received a November 9 release date, and given that both FromSoftware and Santa Monica Studios' last games won the GOTY at The Game Awards, it could be a real battle this year—depending on how it all unfolds, of course.
Although there was a release date announcement and a teaser for Fenrir's appearance in God of War Ragnarok, there hasn't been much shown off in terms of gameplay and not much even shown off lately. Fans know Kratos and Atreus are trying to prevent Ragnarok, and somehow Tyr, Fenrir, Angrboda, Freya, and Thor are all involved. Many are also anticipating the appearance of Odin in the game or a trailer, especially after his ravens were potentially teased in another trailer, but neither hide nor hair of him has been officially shown.
God of War Ragnarok is Less Than 100 Days From Launch
However, there are rumors of a number of God of War Ragnarok leaks out there, following the recent Last of Us Part 1 leaks. There was allegedly a security issue that some fans were able to manipulate and access, but nothing about God of War Ragnarok has appeared online since this supposedly occurred, until now. Recently, «retired» leaker AethesticGamer/Dusk Golem, who is largely known for horror andResident Evil leaks, shared a character model of Odin.
