While Darth Vader's newest ally has been trying to bring him back to the light as Anakin Skywalker, a new Star Wars preview teases that Sabé will soon face the Emperor himself. Although the Queen's Shadow first tried to kill Darth Vader, she soon learned the truth about the Dark Lord's past identity as the Jedi Knight who loved her queen. Now, Sabé will soon encounter Darth Vader's dark master who undoubtedly won't appreciate her mission to try and redeem his corrupted apprentice.
Currently in Marvel's Darth Vader series, Sabé has allied herself with Darth Vader and his Sith assassin Ochi of Bestoon. Aiding in their crusade to root out agents of Crimson Dawn who've embedded themselves within the Empire, Sabé's true mission to redeem Darth Vader is incredibly risky. Having ventured to the abandoned hospital facility where Padmé gave birth to Luke and Leia Skywalker, Sabé heard the same partial recording of Padmé's last words Vader did when the Dark Lord came to the facility himself seeking answers: "There's still good in him.". Now, Sabé has been attempting to use the memory of Vader's deceased wife to try and bring him back to the light.
