After launching the most premium smartphone offerings - the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 earlier this month, Samsung has quietly unveiled its latest budget smartphone in India. The new affordable phone, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A04, has been launched with a 50MP led dual camera setup, a 6.5-inch large display, a massive 5,000mAh battery, and much more. The new Samsung Galaxy A04 looks similar to its predecessor. It features a 6.5-inch LCD Infinity-V display. It comes with a basic refresh rate of a maximum 60Hz. It packs an unknown octa-core chipset, which is expected to be the Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, the GSMArena report mentioned. The memory is expandable to up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. runs on Android 12 out of the box, and comes with One UI Core 4.1.
It also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with an unknown charging speed. Like its predecessor, it also comes with a 5MP selfie sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. However, the primary camera gets a bump from 48MP to 50MP. The camera setup is also paired with an LED flash. For connectivity, it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, and more.
Surprisingly, Samsung has not revealed the price of the new Galaxy A04 but based on the specs and features, several reports claim that it will be priced at around Rs. 10,499 in India. It has been launched in four colour options - black, white, copper, and green. The price is expected to be revealed soon.
