Niantic reveals a new raid event for Pokemon GO centered on the arrival of Mega Heracross, which brings with it exclusive rewards and other bonuses. To help support this event, Niantic is increasing the Remote Raid Pass limit to 20 starting on Friday, April 12, through 8pm on Saturday, April 13.

For those who want more from this event, Niantic also revealed premium items that will be available during the Mega Heracross Raid Day event. For $5 USD, players can purchase an Event Exclusive Ticket which gives passive bonuses of 8 additional Raid Passes after spinning a Pokemon GO Gym Photo Disk, increased odds to earn Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles, as well as 50% more XP and 2x earned Stardust from Raid Battles.
