Mortal Kombat 1's final roster has seemingly leaked online two weeks before the game's final release, revealing that Nitara is the 24th playable fighter.
After years of waiting, we're just a few short weeks away from the release of Mortal Kombat 1, with Premium Edition players getting the game even earlier on September 14. With launch so close and MK1 already having been a leaky ship ever since it was first announced, more leaks were bound to happen and that's precisely the case here as the game's final roster has seemingly been shared online.

As shared by Twitter user thetiny, it appears that someone has managed to get access to an early copy of Mortal Kombat 1 on the Nintendo Switch, which has in turn let them see the game's complete launch roster, including the fighter taking the 24th and final slot. Although many were expecting to see Jade or Sonya Blade as the 24th character, it seems that the final character is actually Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance's Nitara instead.
In the screenshot shared by thetiny, you can see Nitara in the bottom right corner of the screen next to Ashrah. Her name isn't confirmed in the post, but the demon wings and position next to Ashrah make it clear who she is. Although it's a shame that Jade hasn't made it in after so many fan requests, Nitara is unarguably a more exciting pick as she hasn't appeared in a Mortal Kombat game since Armageddon, despite being one of the most popular fighters introduced in the 3D era.
