Is your wallet ready for the holiday shopping season? Ease into the spending juggernaut with some Amazon freebies ahead of its Prime Big Deal Days. It's offering Prime members extended free trials across its subscription services, which you can continue or cancel before you're charged a single cent. Here's what you can get.
Amazon Music Prime has some great tunes and podcasts, but it restricts you to shuffle playlists. Music Unlimited offers ad-free, a la carte listening, and right now, Prime members can get four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free (non-Prime members get three months). After the trial, you'll be renewed at the current rate of $9.99/month for Prime members or $11.99/month for non-Prime members, but you can cancel anytime before the charge.
Select Prime users can get a free $15 Amazon Prime Big Deal Days credit to use on an order of $30 or more on Oct. 10-11. Just upload a photo to your Amazon Photos account by Oct. 7 11:59 p.m. PST. Note: This only applies to those who have never uploaded a photo to Amazon Photos, and the $15 credit only works with products that are labeled as “sold by Amazon.com."
Prime members can get a free year of Grubhub+, which offers $0 delivery and lower service fees, 5% Grubhub+ credit back on pickup orders, and exclusive offers. After your first year, you will be automatically renewed at $9.99 per month, but you can cancel any time. Right now, you can get $5 off orders $25 with coupon code PRIME5.
