The mobile MMORPG Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds launched internationally on May 25, a bit over 500 days ago. Developer Netmarbe is celebrating this recent milestone with four new events.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds’ 500th Day Check-In Event lets players earn rewards just by logging in. Players who sign in for 28 days earn an elusive 500th Day Title. They’ll also get 320 Summon Coupons, four rare chests, and other rewards. Meanwhile, the 500th Day Celebration Roulette Event lets players win power-up material and other items by spinning a roulette wheel.
The Vulcan Exchange Event has players gather Vulcan Dolls by defeating the Corrupted Vulcan Field Boss. Players can exchange the Dolls for the Radiant Sealed Vulcan Earrings, Magic Tome: Frost Vortex and more. Finally, Cross Worlds’ Power Up Dungeon Double Up Event gives players free entries to the Fire Temple and Familiar’s Cradle. Players also get additional rewards from completing Goldbeard’s Pirate Ship.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch introduced Western audiences to the franchise in 2013. The Japan-only Dominion of the Dark Djinn preceded it by a few years. However, both tell similar stories and are really just different versions of the same game. Netmarble’s Cross Worlds sees players exploring the same fantasy world through an in-universe VR game called Soul Diver. The online multiplayer game lets players choose between five playable classes and features both a cooperative and competitive team-based mode.
Players can download Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds for Android, iOS or PC, though the latter is still in beta. Also, be sure to check back for more updates here on Hardcore Droid.
