Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of October 23, 2023 to October 29, 2023.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 19,330 units on Switch and 13,717 units on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of 33,047 retail copies sold.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Switch remained the overall highest selling title of the week, moving another 163,176 retail copies.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 66,161 units, the Xbox Series family sold 3,301 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 2,933 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,006 units.
