Famitsu Sales: 10/30/23 – 11/5/23

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of October 30, 2023 to November 5, 2023.

Fashion Dreamer for Switch was the highest selling single-SKU new release of the week, opening at 30,884 retail copies sold.

Star Ocean: The Second Story R was the highest selling multiplatform new release. opening at 28,850 units on Switch, 14,367 units on PlayStation 5, and 7,360 units on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 50,577 retail copies sold.

Also new this week, WarioWare: Move It! for Switch opened at 29,584 retail copies sold.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 93,252 units, the Xbox Series family sold 4,737 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 1,306 units, and the PlayStation 5 family sold 1,217 units. The new, slimmer PlayStation 5 model will launch on November 10 in Japan.
